Do I have to present my Individual Number (My Number) when opening a bank account?

Since the introduction of the deposit account numbering policy in January 2018, we have been asking all customers opening Seven Bank accounts to inform us of their Individual Number (My Number). (Note that informing us of your Individual Number is not mandatory.)

Customers who have signed up for the International Money Transfer Service and use this service are also asked to inform us of their Individual Number for the purpose of creating legal documents for international money transfers in accordance with laws and regulations.
